Corrected blog (Stefanie)

So this morning when I got up I was very tired so I went back to sleep. But all of a sudden I hear a loud yell that came from downstairs. It was my Mom screaming my name.
"Arther!" (No lisp)
When I heard my Mom yell my name like that I was so scared. I thought that she was going to kill me for eating the whole chocolate cake from the fridge last night. What was I going to do?
"Arther get down here!" (No lisp)
I was so nervous, my eyes started to tear up. But when I came downstairs my Mom had a Superman backpack in her hands. I was so confused. But I was SO happy that she wasn't mad at me for eating the chocolate cake. Phew, instead she told me that I was going to start school today. When I heard that I was starting school I was so happy! All I could think about were the new friends that I was going to make on my first day of kindergarten. They were going to think that I'm so cool with all of my Hot Wheels toys and they would want to play with me all day.
"OK Arther, it's time to go get ready. Now run along and go brush your teeth and get ready." (No lisp) My Mom told me that it was twenty-five minutes before school starts and that I have to be ready to go in twenty minutes because Mommy hates being late. I ran upstairs with my Superman backpack and left it in my room to go brush my teeth and get dressed. When I came in my room I see that my mom has already packed my Superman backpack with a small notebook and a Superman pencil case. So all I had to do left was to fill the rest up with my awesome Hot Wheels toys so that me and my new friends could play. Finally after I had looked forever for my cool Hot Wheels toys I was ready to go to school. I zipped up my Superman backpack and went downstairs to put my shoes on and go to my very first day of kindergarten.
***
When I had got there I was so happy to see all those kids that were going to be my best friends. Before I went to line up in my line just like all of the other kids that came early I gave my Mom a big hug and said goodbye to her. I was quiet in my line because everyone else was and I didn't want to embarrass myself by talking out loud. When the bell rang it was time to go inside the school. When I was going inside I waved my last goodbyes to my mom and by the time I knew it I was inside the school. It was so exciting! When I had went into my classroom I was sent to one of these box like thingies and I was told that this is the space I have to use to put all my stuff, and beneath it there are two hooks on either side in a longer box thingy. So that is where I put my Superman backpack. Then our teacher told us to find our name on a desk and sit there. Sadly I found my name on the desk at the back of the class. I was so sad. I couldn't believe that my teacher would do something to a four-year-old kid like me. Sigh. Oh well, maybe she will see what a good kid I am and put me in the front of the class where all of the special kids should sit. Like me.The teacher had kept talking on and on about the same things. I thought it was because Lauren kept asking the same stupid question again and again.

"Where is the washroom, where is the washroom." She is so annoying! Anyway we have five more minutest of Mrs. Teacher talking about the same things over and over again until it was break time and then we got to go outside for recess. That was when I was going to show off my amazing Hot Wheels toys and everyone was going to be my best friend.
***
When I had went outside holding my Hot Wheels toys no one really noticed me. Not even when I did the most amazing shark attack move. I felt so lonely. I guess that I guessed wrong. I really didn't make new friends that day. When the bell rang to go inside I cleaned up my toys and put them in a box, but I didn't know that I had forgotten to close the clip so that nothing falls out. When I picked up my box everything smashed onto the pavement and everyone turned to face me. Then they started to laugh at me. Then everything looked like it was in slow motion. I felt so hurt and sad that I had no friends and second of all my eyes were beginning to get wet. That wasn't good. I started crying. Everyone continued to go inside the school accept the teacher. She stayed back to talk to me.
"It's OK Arther, accidents happen all the time. Now come on and let's go inside." (No lisp)
I didn't want to go inside but the teacher grabbed my wrist and I ended up going inside the school to my seat in the back of the class. I hated my school, I hated my class and I hated everything to do with all of the bratty kids in my class. I stayed quiet for the rest of the day in class.

When school was over, and it was time to go home, I saw my Mom waiting for me in front of our car waving at me. I just looked at her and continued walking with my head down.
"So Arther, how was your day?" she had asked (No lisp)
I didn't answer her because she was the one that made me go to school in the first place. I just jumped in our car and sat there with my seat belt buckled. When my mom had got in the car she had told me that the first day of school is always the hardest for some kids. She also told me that her first day was the same way when I told her my story. That made me feel a little bit better on the ride back home. When my Mom and I arrived home I ate dinner and I went to play a bit of my kid station before going to bed. Although this was the most tiring day of my life I still have hope for my second day to be much better and that I make tons of friends.

my first day of kndergarten.

I was in bed and sleeping when mommy opened the curtains. The sun was bright in my eyes.
"Wake up Timothy, it's time to go to your first day of school!" Called mommy.
I was nervous about going to school. What if I didn't make any friends and all the kids laughed at me. When I didn't answer mommy came and pulled the blanket off me. I quickly pretended I was sleeping.
"Timothy, wake up, I'm sure you'll like school."
Mommy was never wrong so I got up to get ready for my first day of school. I am a big boy now he remembered. I dressed myself and told mommy I was too old for her to pick out my clothes. I brushed my teeth and went downstairs for breakfast. Mommy made my favourite. Pancakes topped with chocolate syrup and strawberries on the side. I ate my breakfast slowly I was still nervous but I wanted to look like a big boy. I imagined what school would be like. What if the teachers were mean and didn't like me he thought. When it was time to go I pulled on my new backpack with batman on the back. I had picked it out myself. I sat in the backseat listening to mommy tell me how much she liked school.

When I got to school it was really really big. There was a flag pole in the front and big yellow buses were pulling in to the school. When the bell rang mommy walked me to my classroom. On the way I saw a lot of big kids. They were tall and scary. When we go to the classroom I saw a lot of other kids like me. I sighed. My teacher came up to see me. I could hear her shoes."Click clack, click, clack" His hands went sweaty, he hid behind mommy holding on to her tightly.
"Meet your teacher Timothy" she said. I peeked out to see my teacher. She had brown hair, green eyes and looked really friendly. I came out from behind mommy. Soon my mom left and class started. We all sat in a circle and we had to say our name and what we like to do the most. It was almost my turn. I wiped my sweaty hand on my new jeans. When it was my turn I said
"My name is Timothy, and I like to play with my action figures."
Ms.Lilly smiled at me. It was the shy girl's turn next to me.

We were all drawing pictures and my new friend Ethan showed me his picture. It was a picture of the fat kid who said "s" weird.
The fat kid saw the picture and started crying. His tummy moved up and down when he cried.
My mom told me that it was mean to make fun of people and mommy was never wrong. I went over to him and patted his shoulder and we both became friends. Ms.Lilly sent Ethan to quiet time facing the wall. When Chuck stopped crying we drew a picture together and became good friends. We also made friends with the shy girl Allison and Ren.

At the end of the day Ms.Lilly read us a book and gave us stickers. I got a batman one!
It was time to go but I didn't want to. Mom was right. I did like school. That night after I had my milk and cookies I was so excited for school I couldn't sleep. I couldn't wait to see Chuck tomorrow. We both loved batman and playing with action figures. I finally felt sleepy and went to sleep ready to wake up super early for school.

Blory#4

It was a summer afternoon in California. Scarlett Smith was in the backyard on the hammock reading a book. The sun was beating down on her skin. Her brother Matt was upset about getting a ninety-eight on his science test. Scarlett was tired about hearing about his horrible week, she liked to be supportive but Matt wasn't showing any sign of stopping his complaining. Tomorrow would be her first day at the school of performing arts. She was told she had a talent at performing on stage and was encouraged to build on her talent. Scarlett didn't think she was a very good performer but she decided to attend because she would rather go to the school of performing arts than stay at public school. Her parents insisted she come here to Hollywood for new opportunities. You'll make new friends her mom would always convince Scarlett. Scarlett agreed with her mom and was preparing for school the next morning.

On her first day of school Scarlett was feeling anxious. She felt like she didn't belong to the world of Hollywood. She couldn't turn back now. She wouldn't let her parents down. It was too late. She sucked in a deep breath and entered into her first day of school. It was horrible. She looked like a social outcast. She felt like an outsider and mostly felt lost. She walked the hallways alone with no sense of direction until someone asked her...
"may I help you get anywhere"
She stood frozen for a second then turned back to answer the beautiful melodic voice. He was drop dead gorgeous. He had brown hair, hazel eyes that sparkled with a slight smile upon his face.
"I was just heading to room 212. Do you know how to get there?"
"That's my next class too, I'm Justin by the way"
"I'm Scarlett"
The rest of the day had gone well. She had easily fit in unlike the beginning of the day.
The most significant part of the day was meeting Justin. She couldn't stop thinking about him. Scarlett was remembering his sparkling eyes.

By the end of the week, Scarlett became part of the popular crowd. She hadn't been popular since the early years of school.
"Hey Scar" called Justin.
"Hi" replied Scarlett.
"How's it going?"
She flipped her dirty blond hair over her shoulder.
She tried to look as appealing as possible, putting on her best smile. It was working because Justin showed the same interest back. By the next day Justin asked her out. Scarlett couldn't believe she could have such stupendous fortune. Scarlett adored her new school and life. She called her old friends to tell them about her relationship. She would stay up till late hours telling her friends about Justin, her new friends, new classes and the tremendous amount she missed them.

One day, one of her friends Meghan came to tell her something urgent at lunch. She mentioned that Justin was cheating on her. At first Scarlett felt bewildered until she saw what Meghan meant. She felt furious and ended it with him. She had never been cheated on before. She had learned her lesson. Never to fall for guys at first sight. She let down her parents when she told her parents she wanted to move back and go to her old friends. Her demands were refused. Her parents declared she would have to stay in California.
Resigned to her fate, Scarlett thought that she would experience high school as a baccalaureate until she met the boy with brownish blond hair, hazel eyes, kinda short and the voice of a girl but, for some reason all the girls loved him because he was Justin Bieber.

Blory #3: X-ray

She was sitting in the hospital waiting room while her Mom was pacing back and forth anxiously down the hallway. Once again her bratty brother performed another stunt and got hurt. Jessica was always dragged along with her mother to the hospital each time her brother Dexter got hurt. She had better things to do. She was going to go shopping with her friends, but because of her stupid brother her plans were wrecked. This is was all because of her brother's desire to look cool in front of older guys. He was on his skateboard trying to impress them. That didn't work out too well. He ended up ramming in to a pole and almost got ran over. Mom always told him that he should be doing what all kids do at his age of eight. As Dexter walked out of the doctors office Mom bolted to him to give him a bear hug."

"Look what you have done to yourself! You are grounded for a month!", said Jessica's mother. Dexter was covered with scrapes on his elbows that were now covered in bandages and his shirt appeared to be brutally abused. It looked like a rag covered with grass stains all over it. He had a light purple bruise on his forehead. The doctor said he had one on his stomach too. Dexter seemed irritated and his facial expressions were full of embarrassment,I tried to keep my laugh in. Dexter resents it when people treat him as an innocent and frail child because he thinks he's a grown up bad boy.

"Mom get off of me, I'm fine!" Dexter replied walking towards the exit in a disgruntled mood. He held an X-ray in the tight clench of his hand.

When we got home, Mom was examining the X-ray for a while
"What's wrong Mom?" Jessica questioned.
"It's the X-ray" Mom replied.
"There is something strange about it."
I went to take a look at it.
It was an X-ray of Dexter's stomach.
In the middle of it was a shadow of a something that probably didn't belong to the stomach. Just then Dexter was coming down the stairs, he jumped down the last three steps. I heard a ringing sound. I looked back at the X-ray and realized the shadow had the shape of a bell.
"It's a bell!" I announced.
"Why would Dexter have a bell in his stomach" Mom replied.
"Don't you remember two weeks ago he accidentally ate a bell", I added.
"WHAT", said mom
"Oops, I forgot to mention that"

It was his birthday two weeks ago and, in one of the games Dexter and his friends had to find the bell in the cake, whoever did would win a prize. Dexter found it and accidentally ate it with the cake. When Mom finally accepted that it was a bell she rushed to the hospital with Dexter. I also got grounded for not telling anyone that he ate the bell and, once again I got dragged along as well.

Blory#2

Once there was a pastry chef. He worked at the local market at the bakery. The bakery was a very popular spot in the market. It had a very good business the bell on top of the door was always ringing due to the customers rushing in to have a taste of the best dessert in town. They're were many chefs at work everyday and loved every minute of working at the bakery... except one pastry chef. The pastry chef hated working at the bakery. He was a grumpy man. Although he hated working there he was never late and sometimes even worked extra shifts. None of the other chefs understood. He wasn't very friendly to the customers either. There was one reason holding back the boss to fire him. He was the best pastry chef out of all of the others. If he didn't work at the bakery their business would not be the most popular dessert in town.

One day one of the pastry chefs Pablo was curious about this mysterious chef with the extraordinary talent of baking. It was the mysterious pastry chef's day to close the shop. So Pablo stayed behind hiding in the bakery while all the chefs left. The Pastry chef was cleaning up the bakery that was messy after another good day of business. Pablo was nervous wondering what he had done was wrong to do. What if the pastry chef was a normal guy Pablo thought. Maybe not he realized when he saw the pastry chef hooking up a camera inside a pastry. He put the pastry in the glass shelf in front of the counter. He had an evil smirk on his face. He angled the pastry toward the door. He set up more camera's inside pastries and locked the bakery as he left. The lights had been switched off. Pablo thought it was safe to come out of the cupboard bellow the sink. His back ached from the crouched position he was in. Pablo wondered why the pastry chef would do such a thing. Pablo stayed the night sleeping uncomfortably on the ground. In the morning he woke up to the sound of the bell on top of the door. Pablo peeked to see who it could be. The pastry chef walked in anxious and turned on the camera's on all of the pastries he had hidden during the previous night. Pablo left the bakery when the pastry chef wasn't looking. He was careful to exit from behind the camera's.

That day when the bakery closed Pablo followed the pastry chef who had collected the camera's before leaving. It was a long walk to wherever the pastry chef was going. Finally, Pablo had arrived to a dark alley, he hadn't noticed it had gotten dark. The pastry chef walked in to a place in the alley. As soon as the door closed behind the chef Pablo moved his ear to the door to listen in to what was happening."what did you get today" said a voice that Pablo recognized he finally realized this was the voice of a daily customer that visited the bakery. At last he could no longer hear the voices and he decided to leave. That night Pablo heard many things that frightened him. One of them were that the pastry chef was not human but an alien, he and some other aliens were planning on destroying Earth. Pablo didn't know why. He had never been so startled. He had never believed in aliens and today he found out that they were here on Earth which was planned on being decimated!

The next day all Pablo could wonder was if he should tell anyone. He desperately needed to share the news so that he wouldn't have t go through such an abominable time period alone. With resistance he decided not to. No one would believe him anyways. That evening it was his turn to clean and lock up the bakery. While he was cleaning up the mess of the busy day he found a memory stick labeled with the name Louis on it. He took it home and looked in to the data. He found many videos about the planning of destructing Earth. Many people he knew were included in these videos. He felt the chill of fear go down his back.
What was Pablo supposed to do.

To be continued...

It was 1988. I was walking the ancient streets of Paris going to the local market to buy some eggs and a carton of milk. Mother always sent me because I was the oldest. I shared more responsibilities in the house since my Father passed away two years ago. That was the most disheveled year for our family. When Father became ill there was no income for us to live on but we had to cope with it. It was very impenetrable to lose our Father especially for my Mother.
Today I work at local stores near the house and usually buy Mother's groceries on the way.
I was at the Market. I payed for the eggs and milk she had asked for and took my time to walk home. I could see the shape of the Eiffel Tower as I approached closer, the construction for the tower began last year. It was a spring mid -day. The sun was held in the center of the sky. As I arrived home and opened the front door I heard my mother, A voice I could recognize from miles away. Me and my Mother were very close we went through everything together and she was always there through the hardships we had. "EMELIA TUBMAN! what took you so long she roared over the commotion of the stove. I muttered something unintelligible under my breath to low for her to hear. I liked my Mother but she sometimes got concerned for unnecessary reasons. I handed her the groceries and went up to my room to finish my homework. This was very unlike me especially on a Saturday but I decided I didn't want it piling up for tomorrow.
On Monday I was In my least favorite class Geography. Mr.Birdie was babbling on and on about some trip to the Museum that he was looking forward to. Mr.Birdie's monotone voice drained out of my hearing and I drifted to sleep. I had a dream the class was going to one of the most famous museum's of Paris. There was a trip to the museum every year but thankfully this one was divergent. Mr.B would stand in front of each famous historical figure and give a lesson on it. I felt disinterested and as Mr.B dragged on his speech about a painting with a young girl reading I slipped out of the group and decided to take my own tour of the museum. I passed many ancient things and was gracious knowing that I didn't have to listen to Mr.B going pf about the history of everything. I stopped at the painting indicating that it was the Mona Lisa. I heard someone whisper"SSS" I wondered where it came from. Then I eventually realized it was the painting of Mona Lisa. "Are you talking to me" I whispered back, looking around to see if anyone heard.
"who else" she answered back. "Get me out of here!, I have been stuck here for the longest time"
I leaned in to see if she was actually talking to me, just to make sure I wasn't hearing things.
As soon as I leaned in I found myself staring back at myself. I was walking away with a relieved look on my face. I subsequently realized that I took Mona Lisa's place and she took mine! I would have had a shocked look upon my face but I was frozen like all paintings. The second I realized what had happened a herd of question rushed through me.("How am I going to get out? Will I be stuck in here forever?, What about the real Mona Lisa?") It took me a minute to take in what had happened. I couldn't believe this was really happening. I decided on how I was going to get out. When I found a person alone I did the same thing the Mona Lisa did to me. I was relived when I came out of the painting. Now they're are two copies of me. I looked all over the museum but I couldn't seem to find her. I went to go look for how far the class got on the tour. I still had enough time. That's where I found my look alike. When the group moved one I pulled her aside, getting a good grasp on her. She struggled out of my hold but I managed. I finally got her in to her painting and the man I had trapped in the painting was released. Afterward I found my class and ended the trip with them. It had been a stirring adventure. Soon after my eyes flickered open to some shaking my shoulders awake. I had realized that It was a dream and
Mona Lisa never came out of her painting. At least i fell through Mr.B's monotone lecture.

blog#6 The contreversies of the man behind mysteries:

Dear Reader,
There are many mysteries in people, and I think there is one man whose life was filled with them. I like to refer him as the “The man behind mysteries" because we may never know the truth about him. His life was filled with controversies and confusion. This man was one of the most famous entertainers ever. The legendary King of pop Michael Jackson.

MJ was a highly popular celebrity. This is why his consistent need of plastic surgery had greater recognition in the media. His look always changed.
MJ's skin colour turned to a lighter tone. Since he had plastic surgeries people thought he purposely changed his skin colour. In his defence he claims to have a disease "vitiligo" which causes skin to turn whiter under the sun.
But on MJ's part there's a completely different story. He said that he was a proud black American.
As well as that, he said he accepts all races. His song "Black or white" proves this.

Another controversy that occurred in his lifetime was his accusations of child molestation.
MJ liked being around children. One of them declared MJ did this action towards him. After his death the kid said he made the story up because his Father pressured him to.
In 2005 he was released of all charges of a two year case.

Michael Jackson's life had a pattern of one controversy after another up until his tragic death. His death was also confusion. The news of his mournful death was all over magazines and newspapers all over the world. Was the end of his life due to natural causes or homicide?
His doctor was the victim because he gave him overdoses of propofol. Also he didn't contact anyone for help until after an hour of knowing he was dying.
The doctor faced the charges.
The case was closed without knowing the cause of his death.
Michael Jackson's life was filled with controversies up to the time he passed away.

(In my opinion) I deeply feel he had to face troubles he wasn't responsible for because, his music is highly concentrated on his sincere thoughts. (Writes his own songs)
I'm inspired by his strong messages of peace, love and the environment.
I honour his music that gave him the title as the "King of pop".
We may never know the truth of the man behind mysteries.
Was he an innocent man with bad faith, or was he a guilty man hiding his wrong doings behind a dark veil?

Dear outer space aliens,
I once had a dream. I was at a party.
I was surrounded by family and friends. Loud music was playing.
The party was coming to a close. As people were leaving they saw something in the sky.
Some people thought it might have been a spaceship others thought it was a shooting star because it disappeared from the dark sky. People started to leave, while everyone left i stayed outside waiting for something to come in sight above. I waited and waited...
Finally, all of a sudden a bright light flashed right in front of me. I got startled not knowing what to expect. As an alien she was nothing like i would expect. She didn't have green skin, webbed feet, more than two eyes instead she had undeniable beauty.
She was something my eyes had never witnessed.
She had sparking and smiling green eyes and the rest of her face was equally beautiful.
She had long bronze hair that would have reached her shoulder but her body ended after her neck. I stared at her for a long moment. Soon she disappeared and i awoke.
I realized it was a dream.
Some say that you don't exist but since that dream i started to believe in other life outside earth.
For now i can only see you aliens in my dreams...
From,
human from earth.
