Blory#4

It was a summer afternoon in California. Scarlett Smith was in the backyard on the hammock reading a book. The sun was beating down on her skin. Her brother Matt was upset about getting a ninety-eight on his science test. Scarlett was tired about hearing about his horrible week, she liked to be supportive but Matt wasn't showing any sign of stopping his complaining. Tomorrow would be her first day at the school of performing arts. She was told she had a talent at performing on stage and was encouraged to build on her talent. Scarlett didn't think she was a very good performer but she decided to attend because she would rather go to the school of performing arts than stay at public school. Her parents insisted she come here to Hollywood for new opportunities. You'll make new friends her mom would always convince Scarlett. Scarlett agreed with her mom and was preparing for school the next morning.

On her first day of school Scarlett was feeling anxious. She felt like she didn't belong to the world of Hollywood. She couldn't turn back now. She wouldn't let her parents down. It was too late. She sucked in a deep breath and entered into her first day of school. It was horrible. She looked like a social outcast. She felt like an outsider and mostly felt lost. She walked the hallways alone with no sense of direction until someone asked her...
"may I help you get anywhere"
She stood frozen for a second then turned back to answer the beautiful melodic voice. He was drop dead gorgeous. He had brown hair, hazel eyes that sparkled with a slight smile upon his face.
"I was just heading to room 212. Do you know how to get there?"
"That's my next class too, I'm Justin by the way"
"I'm Scarlett"
The rest of the day had gone well. She had easily fit in unlike the beginning of the day.
The most significant part of the day was meeting Justin. She couldn't stop thinking about him. Scarlett was remembering his sparkling eyes.

By the end of the week, Scarlett became part of the popular crowd. She hadn't been popular since the early years of school.
"Hey Scar" called Justin.
"Hi" replied Scarlett.
"How's it going?"
She flipped her dirty blond hair over her shoulder.
She tried to look as appealing as possible, putting on her best smile. It was working because Justin showed the same interest back. By the next day Justin asked her out. Scarlett couldn't believe she could have such stupendous fortune. Scarlett adored her new school and life. She called her old friends to tell them about her relationship. She would stay up till late hours telling her friends about Justin, her new friends, new classes and the tremendous amount she missed them.

One day, one of her friends Meghan came to tell her something urgent at lunch. She mentioned that Justin was cheating on her. At first Scarlett felt bewildered until she saw what Meghan meant. She felt furious and ended it with him. She had never been cheated on before. She had learned her lesson. Never to fall for guys at first sight. She let down her parents when she told her parents she wanted to move back and go to her old friends. Her demands were refused. Her parents declared she would have to stay in California.
Resigned to her fate, Scarlett thought that she would experience high school as a baccalaureate until she met the boy with brownish blond hair, hazel eyes, kinda short and the voice of a girl but, for some reason all the girls loved him because he was Justin Bieber.
